Giulia Matteucci '24
Giulia graduated in 2024 as a double major in Government/Law and Psychology, with honors in Government/Law. While in Gov Lab, she was the Manager for the Evidence-Based Education Policymaking Project, the Research Design Lead for the Peer2Power Grassroots Lobbying project, and a Research Assistant for Peer2Power Volunteer Recruitment project. She is currently working at the Federal Research Division at the Library of Congress as a Research Assistant.

Eric Ponieman '24
Eric graduated in 2024 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Government & Law. He worked on the Gov Lab’s Evidence-Based Education Policymaking Project as a Research Assistant, and is now a Research Fellow for the Public Health Project. He is currently volunteering as a Peace Corps Youth Development Facilitator in Peru.

Liliana Roginski '25
Liliana graduated from Lafayette College in 2025 with a Bachelor of Arts in Government/ Law and Psychology. During her time in time Gov Lab, she served as the research manager for the Rivalry Framing Project and worked as a research assistant and associate for the Evidence-Based Education Policymaking project. Currently, she works as an LSI Paralegal at Voce, expediting the processes of family reunification and adoption for children in foster care.

Research Fellows

Role Summary:
Gov Lab Research Fellows are recent Lafayette College graduates invited to return in a specialized role that combines mentorship, research support, and institutional continuity. Fellows provide advanced methodological expertise and strategic guidance to current research teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as advisors to student leadership, offering feedback on experimental design, professional writing, personnel management, and project implementation.
  • Provide specialized research support in areas such as data cleaning, statistical analysis, and/or manuscript preparation.
  • Facilitate onboarding and training sessions for new student researchers.
  • Help maintain methodological rigor and institutional memory across successive project cycles.
  • Collaborate remotely or in-person on selected projects, with flexible commitment based on availability and project needs.
